Police: Speed, Alcohol Played Role In Deadly Crash

An eastern Kentucky man is dead after crashing his truck on a busy Carter County road.

Police say 50-year-old Steven Griffith was turning onto the industrial parkway near Grayson on Monday, when he lost control.

The truck overturned several times. Griffith was ejected and died at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved.

Police think both speed and alcohol played roles in the crash.
