Phone Scam Targets Kentucky Customers

What started as an e-mail scam now seems to be moving to the phone.

On Wednesday night, dozens of people across the bluegrass reported getting automated phone calls from a company claiming to be the Commonwealth Credit Union.

The call states that the person's account has been suspended, due to some suspicious activity. They are then told to call a number, to verify their account information.

The Better Business Bureau says this is a scam. A similar e-mail scam was reported, earlier this week.
