Worker Stumbles Upon Church Burglary Suspect

Workers at a Lexington church got a short scare on Monday morning when they unlocked their doors to find someone already inside.

Ed Clark, the maintenance man at Hunter Presbyterian Church, says he unlocked the church to find a warm glass of coffee and cereal on the table.

He says the window to the kitchen was open, so he knew someone was inside the church.

The man found at the church has been identified as 49-year-old Donald Lewis Ahee and employees at the church say they were told he was from the Detroit area.

Police tell us this was a one time event, and they do not suspect this man to be involved in any burglaries in the area.
