Man killed by train in Somerset identified

SOMERSET, Ky. (WKYT) - A man hit and killed by a train last week in Somerset has been identified.

The Pulaski County coroner says the victim is 28-year-old Joseph Richardson.

Somerset Police say they haven't been able to find Richardson's family, so now, they're asking the public for help.

Police think Richardson lived in Somerset the last few years, but he may have been from northern Kentucky originally.

Police say Richardson was walking on the tracks, near the West Columbia Street crossing, on April 30 when he was hit by the train.
