Richmond Police arrest man accused of threatening ex-girlfriend

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Police have arrested a man they say kept threatening his ex-girlfriend, and even stole from her.

Richmond Police charged 19-year-old Matthew Withers with robbery, burglary, wanton endangerment, and criminal mischief.

Police say Withers showed up at his girlfriend's home on Kensington Place, threatened to hit her, took her cell phone, and slashed her tires before leaving.

However, police say Withers later came back, grabbed the victim, and threatened her with a knife.

Police say Withers later returned a third time, but the victim had locked the doors and he couldn't get inside the home.
