Northern Ky. Man Accused Of Posing As Doctor

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (AP) - A grand jury in Cincinnati has indicted a man from northern Kentucky, accusing him of posing as a doctor and treating patients.

The indictment returned Monday charges 64-year-old Jack Readnour of Fort Mitchell with four counts of practicing medicine without a license and one count of possession of criminal tools - that for allegedly using medical equipment to treat patients.

Authorities say a relative of a patient became suspicious and reported Readnour.

Readnour operated the Monfort Heights Family Clinic in Cincinnati, where police say he performed medical procedures including immunizations, mammograms and colonoscopies.

The Ohio Medical Board found Readnour had never applied for a medical license.
