RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people face charges after police say they held a woman against her will.

Richmond Police arrested 21-year-old Nina Shaw and 22-year-old Curtis Jarrell.

Police say they were called to an apartment on North Keeneland Drive last Thursday for a report of a disturbance.

When police arrived, they say they could hear a woman screaming, and they had to force their way inside.

Police say Shaw took away the victim's cell phone so she couldn't call for help.

They also say Shaw and Jarrell kept her from answering the door, when police showed up.

Police have charged Shaw and Jarrell with unlawful imprisonment.
