The body of a Lexington marine, killed while serving in Afghanistan, is now back in the bluegrass.
The remains of Captain Eric Terhune arrived at Blue Grass Airport on Wednesday morning.
Military officials say he died last Thursday while conducting a security patrol. Terhune had served two tours in Iraq before going to Afghanistan.
Visitation will be 5-9 pm Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home. His funeral is set for 10:30 am Saturday at Tates Creek Presbyterian Church in Lexington. He will be buried at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors.
