Three injured in violent crash in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Three people have been injured, one seriously, in a crash involving a motorcycle.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. Friday on Richmond Road, at the intersection of North Locust Hill.

Police say a motorcycle and a car collided at that intersection. They say the driver of the motorcycle has life-threatening injuries. Police say a second person on the motorcycle, and the driver of the car also went to the hospital, but their injuries are non-life threatening.

"I'm really praying for them and their family right now. That was a really bad experience for me to see so I can only imagine what they're going through physically with getting hit like that. It was a pretty bad hit to hear it and see it," said crash witness Meyasha Walker.

As of 11 p.m., police were still on the scene investigating.
