Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
Some 40 soldiers will be coming home to Kentucky Friday after a nine month deployment in Iraq.
Members of the Kentucky Army National Guard's 138th Fires Brigade provided support to Iraqi Security Forces and provided fire control for coalition artillery units.
The troops are scheduled to arrive at the Lexington Bluegrass Airport at noon on Friday. A welcome home ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the hangar at TAC Air on Airport Road.
