LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Some lane closures could slow down your drive this weekend on Interstates 64 and 75.
The Kentucky Department of Highways says from 8 p.m. Friday until 3 p.m. Sunday, one lane will be closed on the following roads: southbound I-75 at the Clay's Ferry Bridge in Madison County, eastbound I-64 at mile marker 62 in Woodford County, and eastbound I-64 at mile marker 73 in Fayette County.
Road crews say the lane closures are needed for surface friction and additional testing.
All work is scheduled on a tentative basis and is subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
