LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are investigating what led to stabbing outside a Lexington apartment building early Friday evening.
The stabbing happened just before 6 p.m. on Post Road, near Keithshire Way.
Lexington Police say a man told them he was standing outside of an apartment building, when another man approached him, and stabbed him in the shoulder.
The victim says he ran off and called for help.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. At this time, they say they don't have a motive for the stabbing.
Police have not made any arrests in this case. They say the suspect is a Hispanic man, around 5'10', 180 pounds, who was wearing a white t-shirt with writing on it, and khaki pants.
