Many thought Lexington's annual 4th of July parade would be a little bit wet but fortunately that wasn't the case.
Skies were cloudy but that actually made for comfortable temperatures for spectators and exhibitors.
Parade participants included politicians, community organizations, marching bands and first responders. Spectators ranged from young to old.
A street festival featuring vendors and live entertainment followed the parade in downtown.
