Workers at Georgetown's Toyota plant are breathing a sigh of relief toady.
Toyota announced its making significant changes as it's U.S. Plants, including cutting back production at the San Antonio plant. That plant makes the Tundra truck.
Toyota will halt production of the Tundra, starting on August 8th.
The company is also cutting back production at the nearby Princeton, Indiana plant.
We talked with local officials and they tell 27 NEWSFIRST the Georgetown plant will not be affected by any of these changes.
The plant here makes hybrid Camrys, regular Camrys, Solaras and Avalons.
They'll also be making the crossover, the Venza, in the near future.
