CHANDLER, Ariz. (WKYT) - An Arizona woman faces charges after police say she tried to kill her husband, a former Lexington police officer.
Police say 65-year-old Rosemary Vogel injected feces-laced fluid into her husband's IV. The couple was alone in his Arizona hospital room, following his surgery.
Police charged her with attempted murder, and vulnerable adult abuse.
According to our partners at the Lexington Herald-Leader, Vogel's husband is former Lexington Police Officer Phil Vogel.
He is expected to survive.
