A security guard is recovering Monday night after being stabbed while walking his beat inside the Radisson Hotel in downtown Lexington.

Police tell 27NEWSFIRST the stabbing happened around seven. That's when a veteran guard approached a suspicious man on the eighth floor.

When the guard asked the man if he was guest there the man stabbed him in the shoulder.

Police searched for the suspect but never found him.

We're told the guard was taken to UK Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

I also work in Security and I hope the Police catch the culprit. Then I hope they stab him too.
