Police search for suspect after armed robbery in Whitley County

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Police need your help finding a man they say robbed another man at gunpoint in Whitley County.

The Whitley County Sheriff's Office is looking for 24-year-old Justin Bell, of Corbin.

Investigators say early Wednesday morning, Bell went up to the victim at a Speedway gas station in Corbin and asked for a ride, saying he and his girlfriend had a fight.

The victim gave Bell a ride to Chestnut Road, where investigators say Bell pulled a gun on the victim and stole his wallet.

Police say Bell's girlfriend had followed them. He got into her car and took off.

Bell has been charged with robbery. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Whitley County Sheriff's Office at 606-549-6006.
