It didn't take long for Nicholasville Police to arrest 35-year-old Joesph Morris of Boyle County.
Police say around 11:00 Wednesday morning they had a call from a concerned resident who saw a suspicious car driving back in forth in front of their home.
According to police, that car was staking out the Kentucky Bank on Main Street.
While police were on the way to check out the suspicious car, they say Morris went into the bank with a hatchet on his belt, and demanded money.
He then got into his car and drove away down a dead end street.
When Morris made the full circle drive around the street, the police were there waiting for him.
He was arrested for the robbery. No one was hurt and police have recovered the stolen money.
