LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - On Thursday night, the Lexington Opera House raised the curtain on its upcoming "Broadway Live" season.
The Opera House hosted a gala season preview event, which featured excerpts from the national touring productions coming to Lexington.
"Elf," "Guys and Dolls," "Peter and the Starcatcher," "The Great Gatsby," and "Sister Act" are on the lineup.
"Well, there's something for everyone, certainly for families and adults alike," said Performing Arts Director Luanne Franklin. "There's comedy, there's music, there's drama. You're going to find it all at 'Broadway Live' this season."
The upcoming season begins with "Elf" from November 14-16.
"Guys and Dolls" will be at the Opera House from January 23-25, 2015.
"Peter and the Starcatcher" will follow from February 6-8.
"The Great Gatsby" will be at the Opera House from March 13-15.
"Sister Act" will run from April 24-26.
