Heavy snow is taking its time moving through the state of Kentucky. This will be a historic once its all said and done with a few spots around a foot of snow.
A Kentucky soldier, injured in an attack in Afghanistan, will be buried later this week.
21-year-old Private First Class Sergio S. Abad was killed during an attack on an outpost back on July 14th. A total of nine soldiers died in the attack.
Abad is from Union County and was stationed in Vicenza, Italy.
He will be buried on Wednesday at Arlington Cemetery. The governor has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on that day.
