Four Juveniles Charged In Arson Fire

Four juveniles face charges after police say they started a fire at an abandoned home in Jessamine County.

Robert Quinn owned the Nicholasville home on Shun Pike that went into flames. Quinn says after his divorce, the home was left empty. No one is said to have lived there for decades, close to 30 years. Quinn and his neighbors say the home has attracted kids and trouble in the past.

"We've had several break-ins," says Quinn "They've stolen things in the past here. It's just what you have to put up with, with today's society."

Witnesses say they saw people running from the house shortly before the fire broke out Tuesday night.

State police interviewed those witnesses, who identified the suspects, who police arrested.

The juveniles are charged with second-degree arson.
