Lexington man arrested in human trafficking case

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police have made an arrest in what they call a human trafficking case.

Police say members of the Special Victims Section served search warrants Friday morning at a home on Georgetown Road, and two El Gran Tako restaurants on East New Circle Road and Alexandria Drive.

Police say 39-year-old Javier Ahuati-Romero was arrested at the Georgetown Road home. He's been charged with one count of human trafficking.

Lexington Police say the investigation into this case is continuing.
