Police arrest man accused of robbing banks in Kentucky and Indiana

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man accused of robbing banks all over Kentucky, including Lexington, is now in custody.

Police say 36-year-old William Grubbs, Junior was arrested last week in northern Kentucky.

Investigators say they have tied Grubbs to bank robberies in Lexington, Louisville, Carrollton, LaGrange, and Greensburg, Indiana.

They say Grubbs could also be connected to more robberies.

Grubbs has prior robbery convictions out of the Cincinnati area, dating back to 2008.
