LEXINGTON, KY -- Police arrested a Fayette County jail inmate Saturday who had not returned to jail after a medical appointment, jail officials told the Lexington Herald-Leader.
In its Sunday edition, the Herald Leader reports that 20-year old Joshua Ryan Johnson was being held on a probation violation. He was released from the Fayette County Detention Center Wednesday on court orders for a medical appointment and was to return that same day.
Police found him Saturday afternoon in Lexington and charged him with contempt of court and second-degree escape, jail officials told the Lexington Herald-Leader.
