Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington firefighters say water from a sprinkler head caused a big mess on the floor of Memorial Coliseum Friday night.
Around 9 p.m., firefighters say a volleyball team was practicing, and a volleyball hit one of the sprinkler heads in the Coliseum.
That caused water to gush out onto the floor.
Firefighters say at one point, part of the floor was covered in a half inch of water.
There aren't any drains near the floor, so firefighters say UK workers brought in equipment to suck up the water.
Firefighters aren't sure if the floor has any damage because of the water.
