Lexington is getting a jump start on out of control parties near the University of Kentucky, before classes even begin.
Last fall the city started cracking down on parties and illegal parking in neighborhoods near Commonwealth Stadium.
This came after complaints of wild partying, especially on UK 's game days.
Thursday, the city unveiled a tougher plan to deal with the unruly crowds.
Part of the plan will includes, city code enforcement officers actually patrolling these areas on game days, especially in the neighborhoods around Commonwealth Stadium. The officers will have the authority to cite people for violating codes.
Violations can include trash in yards, indoor furniture outside, broken windows, unruly parties and parking violations.
Parking enforcement is also getting stricter. There will be adjustments to where people can and can't park around the stadium.
