Emergency Crews Rush To Two Vehicle Crashes

LOUISVILLE, KY -- Louisville Metro Police, EMS, and Fire and Rescue responded to two separate vehicle accidents that occurred within minutes of each other, reports the Louisville Courier-Journal in its Saturday edition.
The first accident occurred about 7:34 a.m. in the 2700 block of Goldsmith Lane where emergency crews found a vehicle rolled over on its side, according to a MetroSafe Communications supervisor.
Two minutes later, another vehicle caught fire after it hit a tree on Interstate 265 northbound near Taylorsville Road.The driver was able to get out of the vehicle, said the supervisor.
Injuries are unknown at this time. No further information was available, as of early morning, reports The Louisville Courier-Journal.
