It was easy to spot some top of the line classic cars at one eastern Kentucky state park on Saturday.
It was the first Cruising with the Classics Car Show at Buckhorn Lake. Cars from every era were shined up and on display. About 50 cars showed up for the event and trophies were awarded to each class of car, including best in show.
"It gives everybody in the area an opportunity to bring their cars and over and it's a beautiful day. We have recreation going on for the whole family for the kids," says event organizer, Tesa Turner.
Jeff Hurt brought his 1938 Chevrolet to the car show and says, "It's a beautiful place for a car show and it's a nice day and it's going to be an annual event, we hope!"
The event organizer says she hopes to see twice as many cars next year.
