LOUISVILLE, KY -- Two pedestrians were injured last night when leaving the Kentucky State Fair, reports the Louisville Courier-Journal in its Sunday edition.
Shelly Riggs, 39, of Louisville, was seriously injured and Steven Riggs, 31, of Louisville, received minor injuries after they were struck by a vehicle exiting gate 4 onto Crittenden Drive at 11:45 p.m., reports the C-J.
According to a release from the Kentucky State Police, the two victims possibly had an altercation with the driver of the vehicle earlier in the evening while at the fair. The investigation is ongoing, reports the Louisville Courier-Journal.
