Jeffrey Pratt's luck ran out Monday when police say he robbed the Farmers National Bank in Cynthiana and was then arrested later in the day.

On July 21, Pratt escaped from the Robertson County courthouse while being taken to an arraignment for bank robbery charges.

Police have been searching for Pratt ever since and they believe he's robbed a couple of banks since then, including one in Pendleton County and the one Monday in Harrison County.

Police arrested Jeffrey Pratt on Monday along with his girlfriend, Christina Welte, trying to buy a car at Everybody's Auto Sales in Lexington.

Welte is currently lodged in the Robertson County Detention Center on a charge of Escape 1st Degree.

Jeffrey Pratt is currently in the Fayette County Detention Center. He faces a number of charges in several counties such as Harrison, Robertson, Scott and Pendleton County.

He faces charges such as robbery, resisting arrest, escaping police, fraudulent use of credit cards, being a persistent felony offender, and drug charges, as well as some federal charges.

He appeared in Fayette District Court Tuesday where a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.

He will appear before a judge again on September 4th.
