A southern Kentucky man had to be flown to the hospital after a motorcycle crash.

It happened around 6:30 Wednesday morning on Fishing Creek Road near Yosemite in Casey County.

Police say 19-year-old Eric Falconberry hit a deer, then lost control of his motorcycle and ran into a ditch.

He was flown to the UK Medical Center. His condition is not known.

Police say he was not wearing a helmet.

We are DERECK Falconbury's family. We wanted to comment on his name, it's DERECK. Also, he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, this is what helped him from being seriously injured. Thanks!
