Guilty Plea From High School Basketball Star

A former high school basketball star enters a guilty plea on drug charges.

Bud Mackey took a plea deal on a drug possession charge in court Monday morning. He was scheduled to go to trial next month.

Police arrested Mackey last fall for having cocaine at Scott County High School, where he was the 2007 Sweet 16 MVP.

Prosecutors will recommend the 19-year-old spend six months in jail, followed by five-years probation.
