Hundreds of people turned out Wednesday night to a memorial to mark the two-year anniversary of the crash of Comair Flight 5191.
49 people died after the jet went down after the pilots took off from the wrong runway at Blue Grass Airport.
Several family members of victims spoke at the memorial at Transylvania University.
The names of each victim was also read aloud.
To remember the lives lost that Sunday morning, the governor ordered flags at all state office buildings lowered to half-staff on Wednesday.
The two-year anniversary comes as the FAA has been criticized for moving too slowly to make safety changes in light of the tragic crash.
