Police arrest a man after a wild chase early Friday morning.

Richmond police say they saw a car parked on North Third Street, just before 2 a.m. Police say when they got near that vehicle, the driver took off.

Police later saw the car on Red House Road and pulled it over, but the driver would not turn off or exit the car.

Police say the driver then drove up the driveway and on the the property. Police say in the course of his escape attempt, he drove through three wooden fences before getting stuck on an embankment.

At that time, police arrested 31-year-old Tyrone Hartsfield.

He faces a slew of charges including Fleeing or Evading Police, Wanton Endangerment, Operating a Motor Vehicle while under the Influence of Alcohol and Reckless Driving.

A female passenger in the car will not face charges. She told police she asked Hartsfield several times to let her out of the car.

Police say Hartsfield caused about a thousand dollars in damage to the farm where he crashed through the fences.
