After an all-day search, authorities have located a 72-year-old woman who walked away from an assisted living home.

Searches spotted Betty Hinkle in a wooded area near some railroad tracks in Danville, late Tuesday afternoon. They say she was a little hot, but otherwise fine.

She was taken to a Danville hospital as a precaution.

Hinkle disappeared at around 2:00 Tuesday morning from the BHI facility on Argyll Woods.

More than a dozen emergency officials spent much of the day looking for her in Danville's Millennium Park area. Bloodhounds were even called out to help with the search.

There's no word on why Hinkle wandered off.

Praise God she ok. Your coverage on this was excellent. Hope to find out how this happened. It's a very good place to live. Nice and clean and staff was great. (I used to visit a friend that lived there.
