Police are on the lookout for a suspect who could be trying to pick up children after school at their bus stop.

Nicholas County Sheriff's Department have warned parents to keep a close eye on their children, after two young Nicholas County girls reported a man they didn't know approached them at the school bus stop.

Police say the suspect is a registered sex offender. He is said to have approached kids at a bus stop between School Avenue and North Street last month. He reportedly approached the two girls, asking one if she wanted to listen to music in his car.

The Nicholas County Sheriff's Department is teaming up with neighboring police departments. Deputies say a similar situation was reported in Paris and may be connected.

The suspect is said to be an older white man, over the age of 70, with a scruffy beard. He is said to be driving an older model, white sedan.
