Hundreds of area residents lined the streets of Williamsburg and surrounding communities Sunday afternoon to pay their respects to 25-year-old Army Sergeant David Cooper.
Sergeant Cooper was killed on August 27th while serving in Iraq. He was on his third tour of duty and was scheduled to come home in May.
Sergeant Cooper's funeral took place at Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg. He was buried at the Bowlin Family Cemetery in Jellico, Tennessee.
Sergeant Cooper is survived by his wife, his parents, two sisters and his grandparents.
