A | A | A

We've been airing the U.S. Open right here on WKYT, but there's a change in programming if you plan to watch the men's final on Monday afternoon.

We'll carry that match for you live on the CWKYT.

The final between Roger Federer and Andy Murray starts at 5:00.

WKYT will air its regularly scheduled programming at that time.

Obviously you do John for your took the time to read the comments. I too watched the matches on CBS and USA. Don't they know how big of a tournament it was? I mean it was a Grand Slam tourney. Obviously, CBS had a bigger obligation to show other programming but they could have altered their schedule a little bit.

Boos and jeers to WKYT for "shelving" the Open final on a channel that most of it's non-Lex viewers do NOT recieve. The biggest match of the biggest tournament of the YEAR in tennis. So we could see some story about a jet pack that flew for 30 seconds and some Becker Law Office commercials. Very very dumb...

I was so disapointed, watched tennis all week and now can't find CWKYT. No one on the sports desk made any comment about the change, how unprofessional for a hugh event like the U.S> Open and no info. How sad for a news organization to be so botched.

What about the people outside of Lexington who do not have CWKYT. Watched it all week and expected to see it today but your station decides not to carry it. Great!

I hurry home to watch this and it's on a channel I can't get? What's wrong with you guys? Who made this stupid decision?

I'm with the other commenters. Can we even find a score somewhere?

I'm deeply disappointed in your decision. Not everyone in the viewing area has CWKYT. It's rare that the US Open runs over by a day. Put your inane local newscasters on the station with limited access.

I am in Frankfort and I have DishNetwork satellite. I just called the NewsRoom and they told me that if you have DishNetwork, it will not be aired on the CBS channel that is offered on DishNetwork. He said that the decision was made last minute this morning to only air it on CWKYT. I do not have that. Thank you very much CBS. You are a disgrace to sports television.

I have never heard of CW. I have spent all this time watching the US OPEN and now I can't see the men's final???? I'm sure if this was football or basketball it would be on their regular station!

What is CWKYT??? I'm in Mt. Sterling and have never heard of this. I've been watching the tennis on WKYT all week and was expecting to see the final. What is this?
