New Library Opens Its Doors

Lexington's newest library opened its doors on Friday morning.

The new Northside branch on Russell Cave Road had its grand opening.

It stands right beside the old Northside branch, which will close its doors Friday at five.

The new library will be the city's largest library branch with meeting space, a computer classroom, a teen center and a children's room.

The branch will also be the new home to Central Kentucky Radio Eye.
