Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows tonight. Many areas may wake up to thermometer readings below zero.
If you're looking to get away, it'll now be a little easier and cheaper from Lexington's Blue Grass Airport.
Low-cost airline, Allegiant Air will offer non-stop service to Orlando and the Tampa Area, starting in November.
Mayor Newberry says the new flights are good for Lexington because they service some of the most popular destinations for central Kentuckians.
The Orlando flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. Flights leaving Blue Grass Airport will depart at 7:30 p.m. and arrive in Orlando at 9:25 p.m.
The Tampa-bound flight will be on Mondays and Fridays. Flights will leave at 7:30 p.m. and arrive in Florida at 9:30 p.m.
Allegiant is offering introductory fares for as low as $69 dollars each way and will also offer vacation packages to travelers.
