The Bourbon County Jailer and his Chief Deputy are no longer on the job after being indicted.
The Herald-Leader is reporting Tony Horn and Sandy Dotson agreed to give up their jobs after being indicted on charges of tampering with physical evidence and official misconduct last week.
The agreement was the reason the two were not arrested according to court documents.
The charges stem from an investigation into the death of an inmate. Both continue to receive their pay checks, and they could be reinstated once the case plays out.
