Alleged Kidnapping Victim Arrested

A woman who told police she was the victim of a kidnapping in Lincoln County is now facing charges.

The sheriff's department tells 27 NEWSFIRST that Julie Knisley has been charged with falsely reporting an incident, hindering apprehension and obstruction of government operations.

Earlier this week, police arrested her ex-boyfriend, Jesse James Abee.

Knisely told police Abee kidnapped her.

Knisely is being held on a $5,000 bond at the Lincoln County jail. No arraignment date has been set yet.
