New Service For Seniors In Lexington

Senior citizens who want to get around the community a little more often are now getting a big helping hand.

ITN Bluegrass is now offering rides in Lexington for those at least 60-years-old.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday morning at Lexington Green and vice-mayor Jim Gray provided the inaugural ride.

This is part of a national program, designed to help seniors.

ITN Bluegrass operates like a taxi service. Customers pay three dollars to be picked up and are charged $1.80 per mile.
