Senior citizens who want to get around the community a little more often are now getting a big helping hand.
ITN Bluegrass is now offering rides in Lexington for those at least 60-years-old.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday morning at Lexington Green and vice-mayor Jim Gray provided the inaugural ride.
This is part of a national program, designed to help seniors.
ITN Bluegrass operates like a taxi service. Customers pay three dollars to be picked up and are charged $1.80 per mile.
To get a ride, you can call 252-8665 or log on to itnamerica.org
