A new journal says Kentucky is among the most neurotic states in the U.S.
The journal "Perspectives On Psychological Science" ranked Kentucky seventh in the country.
The rankings came about after more than 600,000 people across the country filled out questionnaires.
Doctors say neurotic people are characterized by anxiety, phobias, compulsions, and obsessions.
The same study also ranks Kentucky among the top 20 most conscientious states.
