More Counties Adopt Burn Ban

Several more Kentucky counties now have full burn bans in effect, bringing the total number in the state to 44.

Carlisle and Hickman counties now have total bans on outdoor burning.

Wednesday marks the official start of forest fire season. However, firefighters across the state have already been busy battling flames.

A fire burned two acres in Pulaski County on Monday. Firefighters from Oklahoma were called in to help. We're told that the fire is under control.

Forestry officials say this year's drought isn't helping the problem.
