2 bodies found in house fire in eastern Kentucky

HAZARD, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police in Hazard are investigating two bodies that were found by firefighters responding to a house fire in eastern Kentucky.

Police said they got a call on Saturday morning about the fire in the Red Fox community of Knott County. The house was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived on the scene.

Two bodies were found inside the home by firefighters, but police have not released the names of the victims because identification has to be made by the state medical examiner's office.

Police said foul play was not suspected, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
