BURLINGTON, Ky. (AP) - An adult and two teenagers have been charged with criminal mischief for breaking the windows of more than two dozen vehicles and knocking down at least four mailboxes in northern Kentucky since March.
Boone County Sheriff's spokesman Tom Scheben says 18-year-old Andrew Epperson of Hebron and two 17-year-olds, one from Hebron and one from Burlington, were arrested Saturday for their roles in the vandalism spree.
Scheben says the incidents started in March when five vehicles and four mailboxes were damaged in Burlington. Scheben says the vandals struck again in May, June and July, hitting another 22 vehicles with concrete blocks, a log, a tire jack and bricks.
Epperson remained in the Boone County Detention Center on Monday in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Jail records did not list an attorney.
