Cattle Truck Crash Shuts Road

A crash involving a cattle truck shutdown a central Kentucky road on Friday afternoon.

The cattle trailer overturned on U.S. 25 in Scott County.

The driver says he thinks the cattle shifted, which caused his truck to drop off the road and overturn near the Harbor Village neighborhood.

Several cows got loose and had to be corralled, several others had to be put down.

The driver only suffered bumps and bruises.

Crews had to wait to tilt the truck back upright until all the cows were removed. It took a while to cleanup the mess and bring a new truck in to haul the cattle away.
