A man is dead after his car crashes in Garrard County.

State police say 26-year-old Dustin Montgomery was driving on Highway 1355 near Lancaster around 9 Saturday morning, when he lost control on a curve.

His car dropped off the road, he over corrected, and slammed into a tree.

Montgomery died at the scene. Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
