Nearly a year after it was condemned, a Lexington home once infested with rats, is about to go on the auction block.

The house on Glen Abbey Circle in the Andover area, has since been cleaned from top to bottom, and is now ready for a buyer.

It's been foreclosed, and will be auctioned at noon, at Fayette Circuit Court. Realtors say the home is worth around $225,000, but could sell for as little as $150,000.

Whoever buys it should raze the house and rebuild. Clean or not, any rats within half a mile will know where to crash this winter.
